Live...

A stage of Web development at which the site is finished and launched. For example, you may hear, “When is the site going to go live?” It means the same as “up,” in the sense that someone could respond by saying, “It’ll be up by the end of the business day on Friday.” Most Web developers will wait until the middle of the night to FTP a finished site to the server (unless they’ve tested it thoroughly on a staging server). There is less traffic on the Net at odd hours of the night, so they can presumably get it up quicker and fix anything that may be wrong (or “broken”) without the majority of their audience witnessing the error.

http://www.learnIT.org also does a good job at explaining this.

Recommended Settings for Audiobooks in iTunes...

Select the file or files you wish to manage in iTunes (use the Ctrl in Windows if you need to select multiple files). Then right click anywhere on your selections and select "Get info". Head over to the Options tab and you will see the following menu items.

image

1. Set the Equalizer Preset to “Vocal Booster”.

2. If the audiobook file is in mp3 format set the Media Kind to “Audiobook”. This will prevent the audiobook from showing up as a song on your iPod or iPhone.

3. Set Remember Positions to “Yes”. This will allow you to resume your audiobook from where you left off last time should you decide to listen to something else.

4.This option is simply the best. When this is checked it will tell the iPod or iPhone to not play your audiobooks when you are in shuffling. This works extremely well with the iHome iP9BR Clock Radio.

This is the device that wakes me up every morning to a random song in my iPhone. It has 2 alarms and many more options you want on an alarm clock like daylight savings time switch (makes the hour easy to change when daylight savings kicks in), great sound quality (it’s not a Bose but look at the price!), remote control, wake me up only 5 days out of week (I don’t get woken up on the weekends at 7 am because I forgot to shut the alarm clock off!).

5. Check “Gapless album” if the audio book is made up of more than 1 file. This will allow you to experience continues play thought out the entire audiobook regardless of how many it has.
