Bill Gates annouced today that the next verion of Microsoft Windows Server (code named "LongHorn") will be Microsoft Windows Server 2008.

Windows 2008 will ship in 5 different flavors.

Web Edition
Standard Edition
Enterprise Edition
Datacenter Edition
Itanic Edition (designed for use with the intel Itanium-64 bit processor)
